US evacuating families of diplomats, soldiers from southern Turkey

The State Department and the Pentagon on Monday night instructed the family members of American diplomats and soldiers in southern Turkey to leave the area due to a growing threat of terrorist attacks. In particular, they mentioned dependents of staff at the American consulate in Adana and Incirlik airbase, where US warplanes carrying out attacks against ISIS targets in Syria are based.
