US issues warning of imminent terror threat in Sofia

The American embassy in the Bulgarian capital issued a statement on Thursday morning urging citizens to refrain from using the city's public transportation system and avoid main streets and other crowded areas, especially the area of the Hotel Pliska, due to an imminent terror threat.
