US: Joint efforts with Russia will be halted if Aleppo assault continues

US Secretary of State John Kerry called Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday and threatened that Washington will cancel all of its understandings with Moscow regarding Syria if the bombing of the city of Aleppo continues. Kerry made the ultimatum following the intensification of the bombing and direct hits on the city's two hospitals. He added that the US holds Russia responsible for the use of huge bunker-busting bombs against residential buildings in the city, water supply and other civilian infrastructure, and called on Moscow to immediately restore the cease-fire in northern Syria.
