US officials attribute to Israel massive cyberattack on Iranian port – WP
A substantial cyberattack that brought traffic at Iran’s busy Shahid Rajaee port terminal on May 9 is now attributed by US and other foreign officials to Israel, according to the Washington Post. They see it as retaliation for the cyberattack linked to Iran a day earlier on Israel’s rural water distribution system, which was thwarted before causing significant damage. The next day, computers regulating the traffic at the Iranian port brought shipping movement to an abrupt halt, trucks and goods crashed and created massive backups on waterways and roads. The attack, which snarled traffic around the port for days, is believed by those officials to have been carried out by Israeli operatives,
