US presidential race: Trump, Sanders win in New Hampshire
Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders won the primaries in New Hampshire on Tuesday. With over 90 percent of the votes counted, Trump received 35 percent of the Republican vote while Sanders took 60 percent among Democrats, about 20 percent more than rival Hillary Clinton. Ohio Governor John Kasich came second in the Republican vote, with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Florida Senator Marco Rubio all vying for third place.
The next rounds of voting will be in Nevada and South Carolina, followed by March 1, called "Super Tuesday" in the US presidential race, when primaries will be held in more than 10 states and territories.
