US Senate slaps additional sanctions on Pyongyang

The US Senate on Wednesday approved additional sanctions on North Korea following its launch of a ballistic missile, nuclear tests, continuing cyberattacks against the US and repeated violations of UN resolutions. The new law specifying the expansion of sanctions was passed by an overwhelming margin of 96-0.
