US to sell 18 sophisticated armed MQ-9B drones to the UAE

The US State Department has given Congress notification of the administration’s plan to sell 18 sophisticated armed MQ-9B aerial drones to the United Arab Emirates in a deal worth around $2.9 billion, informed Washington sources report. Last week, similar notification was made for the sale of F-35 stealth fighter jets to the UAE.
