Visit Turkey at your own risk, Kurdish TAK tells tourists
The Kurdish militant group TAK, an offshoot of the PKK, claimed responsibility on Friday for this week’s car bombing in Istanbul that killed 11 people and warned tourists to stay away from Turkey. “We warn all tourists who might plan to visit Turkey…You are not our targets, but Turkey is no [longer] secure for you,” the group said in a statement. It said also claimed "we have just started the war." The TAK also took responsibility for a pair of car bombings in Ankara this year.
