Washington warns Moscow against military force in Ukraine

US National Security Adviser Susan Rice said Sunday: It is not in anyone’s interest to split Ukraine apart and it would be a grave mistake for Russia to send military forces. The Kremlin reported a phone conversation between Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Vladimir Putin in which they agreed that Ukraine’s territorial integrity must be upheld.
