White House furious with Netanyahu over Jordan Valley vote

An Israeli ministerial panel Sunday voted for a bill to extend Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley. DEBKAfile reports that the White House and State Department claim angrily that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu could had he wished easily blocked the decision. They are furthermore put out by his issue of tenders for 1,400 new apartments in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, the day after a ministerial decision to release 26 Palestinian terrorist murderers.
