Yaalon: Palestinians have derailed Kerry’s peace mission

Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said Tuesday that US Secretary John Kerry’s bid to restart Israel-Palestinian peace talks has run aground. He blamed the Palestinian side for refusing to forego its pre-conditions for coming to the table. Kerry arrived in Amman, Jordan, for talks with Arab foreign ministers on various Mid East crises. He was also supposed to meet Palestinian leaders to try once again to persuade them to waive their stipulations. Kerry has no known plans to visit Israel at this time.
