Ya’alon: We assume the three boys are alive and must be rescued
Defense Minster Moshe Ya’alon said Saturday in a statement to the media: “We are in the middle of an intelligence and operational effort [to find three Israeli boys missing since Thursday night].“ Substantial strength is deployed on the West Bank with the accent on the Hebron sector and detentions are taking place, some conducted overnight.” The defense minister stressed: “Our working premise is that the missing boys are alive and, until we know otherwise, we will bend every effort to rescue them.” During 2013, Israel foiled 30 attempted kidnappings by Palestinian terrorists and 14 since the beginning of this year. “This one,” he said,” must have passed under our radar. We won’t rest until we bring the boys back and lay hands on their kidnappers.”
