Yishai Shlisel found guilty of murdering Shira Banki at gay pride parade

A Jerusalem court found Yishai Shlisel, an ultra-orthodox Israeli Jew, guilty of murdering Israeli teenager Shira Banki at a gay pride parade in Jerusalem in July 2015, and of six other attempts at murder. The judge harshly criticized the Israel Police for "not reading the writing on the wall." Shlisel will be sentenced at a later date.
