‘Zero tolerance’ for UN bullying of Israel, US envoy Haley tells Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met Wednesday with US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley and thanked her for her strong support of Israel at the global body, including her speech the previous day in which she called on the UN Human Rights Council to end its chronic bias against Israel. During the meeting at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said the change in the dialogue by US President Donald Trump and Haley had made a huge difference for both countries. The ambassador responded that "all I did was tell the truth" about the UN. She said "if there is something that I have zero tolerance for it's bullying, and the United Nations has acted with such behavior toward Israel simply because it can."
