Moscow &Tehran prepare to arm Hizballah, including with Iranian air defense missiles

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif pointedly visited Beirut on Monday, Feb.11, the day of the Islamic revolution’s 40th anniversary, to highlight the length and breadth of its reach – even under US sanctions, threats and Israeli bombardment.

Like Moscow, Tehran has shifted its focus to the quest for a foothold in Lebanon to consolidate their success in preserving the next-door Assad regime in Damascus. Both have designated the Shite Hizballah terrorist organization as their main channel of influence in Beirut. Except that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister. who visited Jerusalem last week for talks with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, insisted on Sunday, Feb. 10, that Hizballah is not a terrorist group, but a positive force for stability in the Middle East. The line Russian spokesmen are now pushing in unison with Tehran is a thorough clean-up of Hizballah’s international image.
Hizballah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, last week proposed that Iran re-arm the Lebanese army with new weapons including anti-air missiles. Zarif responded that Tehran is ready to assist Lebanon “in every field” – including the military sphere. He spoke in general terms, but DEBKAfile’s military sources report that, behind closed doors, the Iranian foreign minister offered the Lebanese army a set of Iranian Bavar 373 air defense missile systems, which are a close replica of the Russian S-300s deployed around military and nuclear sites across Iran. Iran nay decide against sending these missiles to Lebanon, lest they are destroyed by Israel, but the offer in itself is raising raised the military temperature around Lebanon. Quite simply, all the parties concerned are aware that the Lebanese government will decline this offer, because by closing the Iranian door they will open it to the start of Russian weapons supplies to Lebanon and Hizballah. Tehran has no objection to advanced weapons reaching Hizballah from Russia. The Iranians will claim that it is par for the course. Kurdish forces in Syria are armed by the Americans to fight Islamic State terror, and Hizballah is fighting the same foe.
The Russians and Iranians are therefore getting their act together for the US military pullout from Syria. Sources in Washington estimated this week that the US withdrawal would be finished by April. Last week, the head of CENTCOM, Gen. Joseph Votel, said that, depending on circumstances, US troops would be out of Syria “in a few weeks.” Their impending departure has boosted Hizballah’s rise to center stage for the next chapter of the Syrian story and its ramifications.

In view of all of this, just what is the purpose of the Israeli PM’s visit to Moscow?

The answer… A humble hint of a warning from the Russians to Israel… behave. The world is not all yours. And pride is not the way.

Basically. Israel needs to behave it’s self. Be humble. And cool it a bit with propaganda machine.

“The world is not all yours….????” Is a completely out of place comment, as Israel has never had global aspirations of dominion. That is what the Jihadis want (with everyone forced into conversion), the Christia s also want everyone to accept Christ (although the forced conversions are dying down, some evolution at least) or the Atheists forcing everyone to accept Democracy and political correctness. When last did a Jew threaten to kill you or force you to follow their ways….? The world projects their own desire for global domination on the Jews, as if they are doing it when in reality your accusations against Israel mask the real intent behind your own people and own ideologies. They can all hold hands and sing songs (for all I car). The fact that Israel has existed against 1.5 billion ummah, and the rest of the world intent on sacrificing Israel to the sword of the Moon God yet it still thrives. Is in itself a testimony to the heaven’s. Remember that G-d has always hardened the hearts of Israel’s enemies before they are destroyed.

Thank you for TRUTH and inspiration for the day, well said. If the Jews controledl the world and the media, why is their international reputation always terrible? Because it’s such a moronic lie! The Jews barely escaped the Shoah and have been under siege ever since in their own sliver of land called Israel… But their time will come and TRUE Zionism will rule in the end, under One King.. Seeing as no Jews are allowed to live in Arab lands and Arabs have equal rights in Israel, your comment MUST be directed towards all the apartheid Arab countries.

“War and apartheid have no place in the 21st century,” and that proclamation will explain the impending destruction of your apartheid Arab Muslim countries.

for the mullahs to be broken, just take away their oil sales. by this I mean embargo with ships surrounding Iran and missiles destroying pipelines. Iran cant do anything about it and Russians will also do little for two reasons. starting up with Russia invites arms to Ukraine and Chechens , covertly and the saying of” the enemy of my enemy is my friend) comes into play here.”
also the price of oil will skyrocket and the mafia that controls Russia would love that to happen.

Iran is not a direct player. they use proxies. Israel can and will destroy their proxies when good and ready.
but it will be a permanent one with nothing held back. The USA will block any UN resolution, to be sure. however, Israel must do it before 2020 because Trump may not be the president.

Russia related to the article, Putin fears a Russian billionaire oligarch revolt that would result in unfathomable large currency Ruble and USD withdrawals and Ruble exchanges as well as most sensitive Russian technology transfers to the USA and Israel. Hence, he knows he must not antagonize or threaten Israel, for fear of a Russian economic depression as well as his own removal.

As I see it, let Russia and Iran continue to waste its Financial Resources on Missiles that can be defended or expended into Armed Oblivion. Israel is very capable of redirecting the use of such weapons back upon them. In the meantime, Iranian Leaders are dealing wit more Protests every day and Russia is draining its own Resources needed to handle other Fears elsewhere without Fear from Israel. Debka sounds the warning again, but the Shofar insofar is something Iran and Russia is not hearing. Eliminate the Hate and Embrace the Divine Grace will create Great States and Nations together.

I stand by my theory from 2 years ago, that Trump’s love for Israel is being used and exploited as a WEDGE issue, and that Putin will bring continued pressure to bear on Israel until Bibi begs Trump to release the Sanctions on Russia, which effectively strangle its economic growth, of which there is little.
That is the only reason that Russia would stop protecting Iranians in Syria and helping Hezy, though they will never leave Tartus or Latkia bases

This is the first time I have seen a direct connection between oil and war. Russia’s Rosneft has been given 20% share of the oil and Gasoline fields of Lebanon and now they are saying that the Gasoline fields that Israel has is siphoning off Gasoline from the Lebanese Gasoline fields. That’s Russia’s extortion fee for ‘protecting’ Hizballah from Israel bringing Russia into direct confrontation with Israel. Now Russia is saying that Hizballah is a stabilizing force in the Middle East.
50 years ago I read a ‘prediction’ that WW3 would start in the Middle East and it would be between Iran and Israel. I looked at the map and thought: How? Why? Nonsense! WOW!!! Looks more and more possible. Now Iran and Hizballah will have protection against Israeli attacks in Syria and Lebanon bringing war ever closer to Israel. The only way to prevent things from progressing is for Israel to bomb Iran now and not wait until the Russians get their missiles in place, although I don’t think they actually need to do anything more than point their radars towards Lebanon or even just let the missiles react to targets above Lebanon in addition to those in Syria. So who knows what the solution is? Today’s new headline: “Moscow &Tehran prepare to arm Hizballah, including with Iranian air defense missiles.” So now Russia is helping Hizballah in addition to Iran. I guess oil wars have not stopped. Russia is now playing Big Daddy in the Middle East in addition to doing it in the rest of the world.

Russia has foolishly decided to eschew diversity and concentrate on developing two main industries: oil and gas plus advanced weapons systems. Russia is now the number
two producer of weapons in the world after the US. Russia’s problem is that the price of oil has been often around $50 per barrel in recent years but many of its fields have difficulty covering their cost of $80 per barrel. This is what happens if a country does not diversify, it has all its eggs in only one or two baskets.

The accession of the new US President has not made the glut of oil products on the world market any better for Russia. The US is now self-sufficient in oil which has kept the world price down, while in Russia there are municipalities that can no longer balance their books and the Russian population is being forced to do the usual for the state ever since 1917, in other words carry all the cost of such a great centralisation of power – which means poverty, and paradoxically produces patriotism also because the state by and large controls the media.

But by getting into wars in the Middle East, Russia has increased its opportunities to sell its advanced weapons. However that is a double-edged sword. The more allies Russia makes the more they are likely to buy Russian weapons systems and pay Russia, improving Russia’s trade balance. At the same time getting into wars carries several kinds of risks, such as the risk of alienating other countries that are enemies of Russia’s weapons customers, and the risks involved in the proliferation of conflict that puts demands of engagement by Russia that over-stretch its military.

What Russia would like to have is a stable bloc of countries stretching from the Indian Ocean to the Med (i.e. Lebanon and Syria to Iran or further afield) that are in alliance with Russia and that buy Russian weapons. It would be good PR for Russia if its weapons were shown to be the decisive factor in winning a war against US forces in some battle, but achieving that sales boost carries obvious risks.

This is all headed to Ezekiel 38 and 39. If you read it carefully in English, every word on every line (and read Ezekiel 39 as well) you will identify the motive of the attacker. Then ask an economist what would happen to the world price of oil now that the Saudi oil is running out and an attacker gets control of the Egyptian and Israeli oil and gas reserves.

For an in-depth study of Gog/Magog you should read “The Silence is Broken” by (I think) Douglas Brenner. He takes it line-by-line and word-by-word, nor does he hesitate to offer as many counter-viewpoints as have a shred of validity.
One of the points the author makes is that one aspect of Gog’s motivation for the invasion is that Russia used to have control over a great many Jews before they emigrated to Israel and, in addition to gas/oil/financial plunder, Gog would like to resume Russia’s power over the people who “got away”.
Brenner makes several fascinating studies in his book, including:
      – a comparison between Gog/Magog of Ezekiel 38, 39 and Gog/Magog of Revelation 20:8
      – a comparison between Gog and the antichrist, whether or not they are one and the same
      – Ezekiel 39:6 – the “fire” sent by God on the coastlands/continents

Bringing Ezekiel 39.6 into the Gog/Magog ensemble invites a look at Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83. Most plausible first at bat is Damascus, certainly in line with a reckoning as WMD etc. come back into play. There is another clue to coming events. not immediately defining as the present lining up of adversaries round about Israel.

See the BULLETIN Of ATOMIC SCIENTISTS page, and note the infamous “Clock”…. Hands now at 2 minutes to Midnight, denoting threat of general World War equal to the height of the 20th Century Cold War, when USA B-52 and Soviet Bear Bombers, with armed nuclear bombs and cruise missiles crowded the northern borders of both countries day and night. New weapons; silos, submarines and satellites are active. More countries with hair trigger weaponry, and more ways to create “False Flag” attacks, fostering counterattack etc.

The best thing one can say about the Muslim hard-on for Israel is, you-all are about to jump the wrong outfit! Putin is bringing his beloved motherland into harm’s way beyond his worst nightmares. USA, fat dumb & happy an ocean away, better start preparation for Cyberwarfare, unintended consequences of meddling in this game. False flag attack likely takes place in Troposphere over USA, by persons/countries unknown. US food distribution falls back to rail connectivity, far short of connectivity needed owing to fact all former rail lines into agricultural districts have been removed!

One is bemused by red hot chess moves here, acting like this is some sort of video game.. Misled Russians without understanding of ramifications of allying with determined Islam are heading for most calamitous losses in history. As for Americas, anyone wishing guidance on how this plays out in the States, see William Forstchen book “ONE SECOND AFTER”, New green wave in America should focus on rebuild of circa 1950 branch rail connectivity network, not costly high speed rail lacking any interface with agriculture.

The greens are too smart to put back in the abandoned rail links, proving smart people always outsmart themselves.
