On Pompeo’s first Mid East trip, Saudis strike Houthi leaders, missiles hit Iranian targets in Syria

In Tel Aviv, Israel’s security cabinet was called into emergency session Monday, April 30 to hear an “operational intelligence briefing” from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. No explanation was offered for the exceptional, unannounced session. Some sources tied the meeting to the missile strikes Sunday night on two Shiite command posts outside Hama and Aleppo in Syria that operate under Iranian Revolutionary Guards command. Various sources reported that 18 Iranian and Shiite personnel were killed.
DEBKAfile’s military sources have been following the trail of the Mike Pompeo on his first Middle East trip since his appointment as US Secretary of State. It lasted just three days.  At his first port of call in Riyadh on Saturday, April 28, while he was sitting down with Saudi King Salman and his son, the strongman, Muhammed bin Salman, Saudi jets bombed the Yemeni interior ministry building in Sanaa. They achieved a direct hit on a meeting of top Houthi leaders. The Saudi air force evidently possessed precise intelligence about the time and whereabouts of the top-secret meeting of the pro-Iranian Houthi leaders.

Then on Sunday evening, about an hour after the press conference that followed secretary Pompeo’s meeting with Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, an unidentified hand launched the missile attacks on the pro-Iranian Shiite bases in Syria.

Do Americans know chess? The moves are planned in advance and crying over the field is not a Russian tactic. Crying foul is for the weak. Many Russians lives lost for the glory of the country is for rejoicing not crying. The long war is hundreds if not thousands of years and so when one reflects on our futures whose are more certain?

If Iran doesn’t like taking Israeli missiles then Iran can stop threatening Israel.

This piecemeal approach is a very effective way to deal with despots and invaders who want to wipe out its neighbors with genocide to promote Islamism and antisemitism :

A continuous military guerilla war – wherever the Islamist Iranians have arms delivered to them from Russia and other channels and sources along the Terror Road from Iran to Syria and Lebanon, take them out – one-by-one.

If the people of Iran want better lives, then they should retire their Mullahs and replace them with real leaders who can build up the largest, most populated and educated country in the region with ample natural resources and energy – without Islamic terror and conquest.

Iran has no reason to invade and occupy others unless they are aiming for world domination.

The scenario of Islamic Iranian victory would not help anyone except for weird leftists who see anarchy and totalitarianism (through Islamization) as a way to erase borders and usher in their form of Communism. I am sure that Iranians laugh at these moon-bat commies and the leftists will be the first ones to perish if the Iranians ever gain power.

the mullahs *do* have a reason – it’s called “mahdaviat”. they believe that the world needs to be destroyed in fire, and that they will lose the war. but they’re on a mission from god, so it’s okay.

Once again, the IDF penetrates the air defensive networks in Syria. Is the SA 400 / 300 a joke or are the Russians not willing to push the conflict further? There is no love between the Russians and the Iranians. The Persians are Pawns in the grander game for the Tsar. If the deal has been struck, the US backs back into Iraq, a place they spent too much blood and money on to just let Iran have it, and the Russian remain the primary supporter of Assad, then the Iranians are tossed onto the fire by Moscow. If Israel is about to clear Syria of Iranian systems, the speech coming tonight, then the deal has been struck without Tehran’s input.

      maybe, maybe not.

the facts are not known, and arab media reports are more colourful than the “arabian nights”, and a lot less accurate.

it’s premature to declare victory based on a handful of missile strikes.

www. veteranstoday .com has a nice article that claims that Israel struck Syria with Tactical Nuke.
Any idea’s if it could be true?

“A series of powerful explosions that rocked military installations in Syria’s Aleppo and Hama provinces were apparently so powerful they were treated as earthquakes by a European monitoring center….”
