Two volleys of 10 Palestinian rockets were launched against Israel on Friday night, Nov. 1, from the Gaza Strip. Iron Dome downed seven. One struck a house in Sderot causing heavy damage. A woman of 64 was injured. The other two rockets exploded on open ground. Red Cod alerts sounded in Sderot and the Shaar Henegev Region Council.
Terrorist violence is again escalating on the Gaza front. The rocket barrage came barely an hour after the Friday weekly Palestinian mob riots took place on the Gaza-Israel border. This week, some 3,500 rioters hurled the usual explosive devices, grenades and rocks at the Israeli soldiers defending the border. Several military vehicles caught fire. The soldiers used crowd dispersal measures to break up the mob.
