Two huge truck bombs driven by suicide attackers kill 26 people in Lahore, E. Pakistan

Another 175 were injured in the two attacks. One killed 22 people and partly demolished the Federal Investigation Agency headquarters high-rise building using 50 kilos of explosives; the other 15 minutes later killed two children and two adults near an advertising agency. This year, Islamist-linked terror attacks have killed more than 600 people in Pakistan.
President Pervez Musharraf has convened the newly-elected parliament for its first session on March 17. Amid the deepening security crisis, the two leading parties have agreed on a power-sharing arrangement with the object of evicting him from the presidency.
