Air Canada flight “bumps” onto Halifax runway. No one seriously hurt
Air Canada flight 624 arriving from Toronto at Stanfield International Airport (Halifax, Nova Scotia) slammed into a utility line. All 132 passengers and five crew members and passengers were evacuated. There were no serious injuries although around 20 people were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The terminal and airport were briefly blacked out and without power. The incident occurred during heavy snow and low visibility.
