All White House staff will report to Kelly – following Scaramucci removal
White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Monday that all staff will report to the new chief of staff John Kelly, who has “full” authority to bring structure and discipline to the White House. She was answering questions about White House chaos and the removal of Anthony Scaramucci as chief of communications ten days after his appointment and shortly after Kelly was sworn in.
Scaramucci was let go, Sanders said, because the president believed his off-color remarks to The New Yorker were "inappropriate." He will not have a position in the administration, she said..
