At least 40 killed in Tunisian border clash with Islamist gunmen

The Tunisian interior minister said 28 terrorists were killed and seven captured when they crossed in from Libya Monday and clashed with Tunisian forces at the Ben Guerdane border garrison. Also killed were six Tunisian security police and seven civilians. The statement did not reveal the affiliation of the terrorists. However Tunisia has been on high alert for Islamic State gunmen who have been slipping across since the US air strike on an ISIS training camp in Libya on Feb. 18.
