DEBKA Exclusive: Candidate for IDF intelligence research chief

DEBKAfile's miltary and intelligence sources report Tuesday that the preferred candidate for head of IDF intelligence's research division is Col. Ram Yavneh, who is now serving as head of strategic planning for the IDF Planning Branch. The current research chief, Brig. Gen. Eli Ben-Meir, will leave his post in the coming months.
