Delivery of world’s most advanced F-15 fighters to Saudi Arabia begins
Four F-15SA warplanes manufactured for Saudi Arabia landed Tuesday at King Khalid Air Base in the southwestern part of the country, marking the delivery of the first out of 152 to be delivered by the US. The fighter, considered the most advanced version of the F-15, was designed and built according to the specifications of the Saudi Air Force. It is equipped with independent flight control, digital electronic warfare, missile launch detection, and search and track systems, as well as helmet-mounted displays, a vulcan cannon, improved engines and better missile-carrying capabilities.
