Egyptian army permits “peaceful” protest ahead of pro-Morsi demo

Cairo tenses for protest rallies called by the Muslim Brotherhood  after Friday prayers against the ouster of Mohamed Morsi. The army says it will guarantee the right to peaceful protest, but MB spokesman Gehad al-Haddad said his movement will not cooperate with the new regime. Morsi and senior Brotherhood figures are in detention and hundreds more are sought.
