Eisenkot: 50,000-60,000 Palestinians cross illegally into Israel every day

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gady Eisenkot reported Tuesday that some 50,000-60,000 Palestinians cross into Israel illegally from the West Bank every day. Many are job-seekers who return home. He spoke at a briefing to the Knesset Control Committee. He added that the Palestinians view terror as a political and religious weapon for attaining their aspirations.The rest of the committee session was held behind closed doors.
