Family members of Israeli Arab terrorists to lose residency, benefits
Interior Minister Silvan Shalom said Wednesday that the immediate family members of Israeli Arabs who commit terrorist attacks against Jews would be stripped of their residency as well as the economic benefits they receive from the government. He added that the step is just as deterrent as the destruction of terrorists' houses. Shalom said he had already decided to cancel the residency of 19 residents of East Jerusalem who were involved in attacks, and that the land upon which terrorists' houses are built would be expropriated after those houses are destroyed.
