First Hamas rocket fire on central Israel after 12-hour pause

Hamas resumed rocket fire at central Israel and Ashdod Saturday night after halting launches for the 12 hours of an agreed “humanitarian” ceasefire with Israel from Saturday morning. Hamas has rejected any further extensions of the truce, although the Israeli security cabinet confirmed an extra four-hour pause up until midnight at the request of the UN.
