Foreign Ministry advisory on travel to Ethiopia

Israelis traveling or working in Ethiopia were warned by Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem Tuesday of violent disturbances that are recurring in the Oromiya and Amhara regions and Ethiopian borders with Eritrea, Kenya, Sudan and South Sudan. Clashes still ongoing between rioters and security forces have left hundreds dead. Protesters have been attacking government buildings with resulting breakdowns of transport, telephones and Internet connections, even in Addis Ababa.
