French police carry out three anti-terror raids

Police carried out three separate raids on Tuesday morning, arresting five people and seizing heavy weapons in Roanne in central France and Rouen and Villeneuve d’Ascq in the north. The anti-terror raids came after at least 10 arrests of terror suspects last Wednesday in France and Belgium. Two weeks ago, a police officer was shot dead and two others injured when a gunman opened fire on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.
