Gulf emirates classify Hizballah as terrorist organization

The Gulf Cooperation Council has designated Hizballah as a terrorist organization due to the "hostile actions of the militia who recruit the young people (of the Gulf) for terrorist acts," GCC Chairman Abdullatif al-Zayani said Wednesday in a statement. The GCC's members are Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the UAE.
