Hamas celebrates anniversary with parade and demagogy

Hundreds of thousands of green-clad Gazans filled the streets and squares of the enclave to mark the 31st anniversary of the founding of Hamas. Ismail Haniya, its political chief, said that any Israeli soldier setting foot in Gaza would be killed or captured.
A military parade staged in southern Gaza on Saturday exhibited anti-aircraft missiles, eight rocket launchers installed on trucks, pickups with heavy machine guns, long-range sniper rifles and advanced machine guns.
