Hamas rockets reach Nahariya, set new record

Residents of Nahariya heard sirens for the first time Sunday from rockets fired from Gaza, a distance of 172 km, and apparently also aimed at Haifa further south. Nahariya was heavily bombed in the past from Lebanon by Hizballah rockets. This is the first time that Hamas rockets have reached this northern Israeli coastal town. They exploded harmlessly on open ground.
