Iran refuses a visa to conductor Daniel Barenbaum

Tehran has refused to issue a visa for the renowned conductor Daniel Barenbaum for concerts in Iran by the Berlin orchestra Staatskapelle, which he leads, because he holds an Israeli passport. The Iranian Ministry of Culture said Sunday that the German orchestra is welcome to perform in the Islamic Republic, only without its conductor.
