Iranian oil tanker steals into Syrian port

The Iranian oil tanker Safoora managed to reach a Syrian port last week and unload its cargo, say Syrian and Iranian sources. DEBKAfile: If this report is confirmed, it would mean that Tehran has been able to flout the US embargo on its oil exports as well as the European ban on oil deliveries to Syria.

    What law has Syria broken that justifies denying the Syrian people essential fuel?

      We are long past the point of playing word games. The oil is still in the refinery or the initial distribution stage, so it is still not to late to remedy the situation.

      The law it broke was to deny the right to live to more than half of the population, regardless of whether they have fuel or not. But you already know that, as you only consider it a crime if it’s done against flat-headed lazy-eyed Denisovan neanderthal half-breeds such as ourselves.

      @Jerzeel

      Syria has it’s own oil, there is only one reason why Iran would send oil to Syria.
