Israeli navy fires warning shots at Palestinian boats nearing Zikkim

The Gaza Strip was again aflame with violence Monday by land and sea. Israeli naval craft fired warning shots at Palestinian boats heading for the Israeli Zikkim shore. Several Palestinians were injured before they turned back. At several points along the Gaza-Israeli borders, Palestinian mobs lobbed hand grenades at Israeli soldiers and released several large balloon clusters, some containing explosives. A large fire is raging in the Shokeda forest.
