Israeli targeted air strike kills two Palestinians in Gaza
An Israeli air strike killed two wanted Palestinian terrorists in the southern Gazan town of Rafah Wednesday night in a joint IDF-Shin Bet operation targeting the two “Defenders of Al-Aqsa” members as the headed south for an attack on Israel from Egyptian Sinai. The IDF confirmed that it had carried out the strike. Both had long records: Anis Abu Mahmoud al-Anin, 33, was the planner of recent attempted terrorist attacks on Israeli soil, as well as terrorist activities on the West Bank. Ashraf Mahmoud Salah, 33, had smuggled two gunmen into Sinai for a suicide attack in Israel. Both were active weapons-smugglers for terrorist operations.
