Jaish-ul-Hind claims blast outside Israel’s Delhi embassy. Iranian role probed
The letter to the Israeli ambassador. that was found at the scene of the small bomb detonated outside the Israeli embassy in Delhi on Friday, suggests revenge for the killing of Iran’s top general Qassem Soleimani and nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. Both were assassinated last year. “This is just the beginning,” the letter said. Jaish-ul-Hind, a little-known local group, claimed responsibility for the explosion on Instagram. The bomb, a small, homemade device, caused no injuries, just damage to three cars outside the building. The ambassador Ron Malka called it a terrorist attack.
CCTV footage obtained by the police show two people arriving at the scene in a taxi.
Mossad agents are expected in Delhi to take part in the full-fledged Indian investigation. Security at the Israeli embassy has been tightened.
