Jordan blames Israel for death of terrorist. Netanyahu: terror is terror
Jordanian government spokesman Mohammed Momani blamed Israel for the death of Mohamme Skaji, 57, a Jordanian tourist who inflicted multiple stab wounds on an Israeli policeman in Jerusalem’s Old City Tuesday. He called the death "a terrible crime" for which Israel is responsible.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s bureau called the Jordanian statement “outrageous” and amounting to support of a terrorist attack. The live footage clearly shows Skaji stabbing a police officer with a knife. "It's time for Jordan to stop this double game. Just like Israel condemns terrorist attacks in Jordan, Jordan must condemn terrorist attacks in Israel. Terror is terror."
