Jordan’s king replaces chief of court and general intelligence director

King Abdullah has appointed Yousef Issawi as his new chief of the royal court. He has held previous senior posts at  court and in the armed forces. The king also sacked Gen. Adnan al-Jundi as Director of General Intelligence, replacing  him with Gen. Ahmed Husni, former head of foreign relations in Jordan’s intelligence service.
