Netanyahu discharged from hospital with heart monitor
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, 73, was discharged Sunday morning from Sheba hospital fitted with a subcutaneous heart monitor for ongoing observation. He was admitted to hospital on Saturday after a dizzy spell and chest pains and diagnosed with dehydration after spending a day at the Kinneret lake during the current heat wave. Medical tests conducted Saturday night found hm to be “in complete cardiac health, with no irregularities,” the hospital said in a statement. The regular cabinet meeting was postponed from Sunday mornings to Monday.
Netanyahu released a video Sunday saying he feels good and urging the public to “spend less time in the sun and drink more water.”
