Netanyahu leads military assessment of Judea-Samaria security
The success of Israeli counter-terror and security operations in Judea and Samaria is manifested in the six-fold increase of the price of weapons, said Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Tuesday in reference to the recent raids on clandestine Palestinian arms factories and workshops. He spoke at a top-level meeting for the assessment of military operations in the region. It was also attended by Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Chief of staff Lt. Gen. Gady Eisenkott, and military, Shin Bet and police district chiefs. The prime minister noted that the Palestinian Authority and the Fatah party had abstained from condemning the deadly Palestinian truck attack in Jerusalem, and “some even praised it.”
