Netanyahu to Putin: Resolve Iran nuclear issue like Syrian chemicals
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told a press conference with President Vladimir Putin Wednesday after their talks in Moscow that he had suggested Iran’s nuclear issue should be resolved with the same approach as Russian offered for Syria. “This will be a peaceful, diplomatic solution of Iran’s nuclear issue just the way it [solution] has been achieved in Syria regarding its chemical weapons,” he said.
Netanyahu and Putin met the day the six-power talks on Iran’s nuclear program resumed in Geneva.
