Netanyahu to US Sen. Leahy: Israeli security forces aren’t murderers

Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday issued a response to a letter by US Democratic Senator Patrick Leahy requesting Secretary of State John Kerry to investigate alleged "extrajudicial killings" of Palestinian terrorists. The letter written a month ago, but only released Wednesday, calls for an investigation of "possible gross violations of human rights by security forces in Israel".
Netanyahu wrote in response, "The IDF and the security forces are not murderers. Israel's soldiers and police officers defend themselves and innocent civillians with the highest moral standards from bloodthirsty terrorists who try to kill them. Where is the concern for the human rights of the many Israelis who have been murdered or maimed by these savage killers? The letter should have been directed to those who incite children to commit cruel acts of terrorism."
