Nine Palestinians who received weapon components by mail arrested

It revealed on Wednesday that the Israeli security forces have recently broken up a Palestinian weapons smuggling ring. Nine Palestinian arms dealers and manufacturers have been arrested so far. The weapon components were first ordered online from foreign companies and then sent by ship to the Israeli port of Ashdod. The parts were then transferred by regular mail or by private couriers to addresses in the Balata refugee camp or in Nablus, where the weapons were constructed. The IDF, the Shin Bet domestic security service and the Israel Police launched the operation against the smugglers last summer.
