Obama concerned about “further encroachment” by Russia
The US president Barack Obama called the Russian annexation of Crimea “a done deal in the sense that the international community” has accepted it. Talking to reporters Tuesday after a nuclear security summit in The Hague, the US president insisted that Crimea is part of Ukraine – even after Kiev pulled its troops back from the peninsula. But, he said, “We also are concerned about further encroachment by Russia into Ukraine.”’
