Obama nominates Jim Comey new FBI chief

President Barack Obama Friday announced the nomination of former federal prosecutor Jim Comey as the new director of the FBI. Robert Mueller whom he succeeds faces questions in Congress about the use of drone technology for surveillance on US soil. Mueller assumed the post of FBI Director just days before the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.
