Palestinian rocket fire triggers red alert in Shear Hanegev district

A rocket aimed from Gaza at Israel exploded on open ground on Sunday afternoon, less than 24 hours after the last volley. It triggered red alerts in the Shear Hanegev and Sdot Negev districts. The IDF continues to mass substantial strength and tanks around the Gaza Strip amid Egyptian-brokered efforts to negotiate a truce between Israel and Hamas.
