Palestinian shot dead after throwing bomb at IDF force near Jerusalem
A 20-year-old Palestinian terrorist who threw an explosive device at IDF troops operating in the village of Akeb, north of Jerusalem, was shot and killed early Thursday morning. The incident occurred after a force of engineering corps troops, accompanied by police units, arrived in the town to demolish the home of the terrorist who carried out the October 9 attack in Jerusalem's French Hill area in which two Israelis were murdered. Rioters threw stones, firebombs and iron bars at the security forces, but there were no Israeli casualties.
