Palestinian terror rampage kills three, injures 7 on highway to Hebron

A Palestinian terrorist in a car opened fire on Israeli vehicles at the Alon Shevut intersection outside Hebron, crashed at top speed around a traffic jam on Rte. 60, then jumped out at the Gush Etzion intersection and sprayed the line of stalled vehicles with gunfire. Three people were killed: An Israeli, Yaakov Dor, 51, from Alon Shevut, and an American Yeshiva student, 18, part of a young group traveling on a minibus. The third fatality was a Palestinian motorist. Seven people were injured, including five other Americans on the same bus. The terror rampage was halted by a border police guard who overpowered the gunman until security forces reached the scene.
