Rally in Tehran marks anniversary of US embassy assault

Tens of thousands of Iranians demonstrated in Tehran on Wednesday to mark the 36th anniversary of the day in 1979 when mobs stormed the American embassy. In the demonstration, which was organized by the government, participants burned American flags and displayed signs with slogans against the US, reports said.
